CNC Turning - In response to market demand MNB has continuously invested in new machines, both to expand capability and increase capacity. As a result, the impressive range of CNC turning lathes listed below provides a strong basis to deliver against all customer challenges.
Within this machine list, there are many other features which further enhance the capabilities:
- A wide range of anti-vibration boring bars can be employed with the lathes, boring holes of diameters varying from 16mm to 120mm, and reaching depths up to 1.3m. These are designed to achieve tight limits (typically holding 0.025mm limit) and good surface finishes within the finished bore
- We also have the capability to roller burnish bores up to a depth of 3 metres
- The maximum distance between centres is 4 metres. However, the use of hollow spindles allows us to machine component lengths up to approximately 6 metres
