Inspection
MNB seeks to assure customers of a quality product which can be immediately deployed into operation. Investment demands in the inspection area are equally critical as for the machining infra-structure. In recognition of this MNB operates two metrology rooms.
The first facility is specifically focused on first-off components and investigations.
The second facility is dedicated to final verification and calibration.
The Krauthammer machine identified at the bottom of the list is an ultra-sonic unit designed to check concentricity. Lack of concentricity between bores, O/Ds and I/Ds will cause a tool to rattle and vibrate - ultimately leading to reduced life. The Krauthammer allows us to eliminate eccentricity and provide our customers with products which will last longer - helping to improve long term operating costs.
