MNB Precision is Hiring!
Our Growth and Investment
Here at MNB Precision, we strive to provide our clients with the very best precision engineering services and we are delighted to announce we have embarked on a growth program that will see our turnover double to £20 million within the next 5 years. In order for us to meet this target, we have invested over £500,000 in four new machines.
Due to the improving oil and gas sector, we have received new contracts which have led to the purchase of a new CNC Turning machine, two CNC Milling machines and a heavy duty press, all of which are helping to increase our productivity. The Turning machine will also enable us to offer a more varied machining capability with live tooling and machining ability in the “y-axis”, whilst a 250-tonne hydraulic press will us to take on even more complex components and to enter new markets.
There is potentially a further £500,000 investment later in the year to bring even more capability under MNBs roof.
Precision Engineering Jobs
With more machines and more capabilities means more demand for Engineers. We have taken on over 50 members of staff in the past 12 months and are looking for further members in the coming months.
We are currently looking to fill CNC Miller posts and CNC Turner posts, along with a number of positions for bench fitters and inspectors on the day and nightshift.

Statement from Managing Director, Luke Benton:
“This is an exciting period of growth for us as we take advantage of strengthening oil prices, which is an integral factor for many of our key clients that supply the industry. We are diversifying into new and exciting industries.
“Three generations of our family have taken the firm from strength to strength, facing many challenges in the nearly four decades since we were founded. We are now in a strong place to be able to take the business forward aggressively, doubling turnover by investing in new machinery and increasing our workforce in order to cope with the increase in demand for our products.”
